Diesel Aftertreatment Emission Systems training focuses on technology utilized by engine manufacturers to meet on-highway EPA Heavy-Duty emissions regulations from 2004 through 2017. Knowledge gained throughout this training course will provide a fundamental and practical understanding of modern emission control systems that will assist in reducing overall operating costs and downtime associated with these complex systems.

  • Basic level training will provide a fresh perspective and practical understanding of Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) assemblies and an overview of the aftertreatment control systems and strategies as well as the role of Diesel Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems in emission reduction.

  • Advanced level training we will take an in-depth look at DPF management, maintenance, and service. Individual DPF regeneration methods and how technicians can optimize the control system regeneration strategies are discussed in detail.   • Expert level training will dive into the second phase of exhaust aftertreatment technology. A thorough understanding of the DEF and SCR systems is important for proper management and failure reduction.
